Innserve recognise that time on technician calls to outlets is precious. Any new innovation that can reduce time spent in outlets saves time and enables technicians to focus on other areas in the outlet. Consequently, Innserve have worked in partnership with MF Refrigeration to develop a unique remote cooler ice bank defrosting device.

One of the difficult failure modes in an ice bank remote cooler is when the controller fails and the refrigeration runs constantly. This can ultimately cause the water bath to freeze and then the beer can freeze in the product coils. A normal technician visit cannot fix this problem as the cooler will need to either be replaced or defrosted.

The Ice Bank Defroster fits in the place of the top pump and can strip the ice from the system. This will then allow the technician to replace the controller and repair the cooler. Innserve have now issued defrosters to all their technicians enabling them to improve customer service to all their customers.
